A team that's been doing this work for over a decade
Our team started in search in 2012, when SEO mostly meant getting your pages indexed and building decent links. The tools have changed completely. The fundamentals haven't.
Founded 2026. The people behind it have worked in search since 2012. We publish our real founding date because we would rather you heard it from us than found it in a domain record. Answerwright is a new company; the team is not new. We don’t guarantee rankings, and we don’t inflate our own history either.
We don't publish a client list. In local search, naming clients tells their competitors who to copy. We'll share relevant, anonymised examples privately on a call instead.
Our Story
Started small. Stayed honest.
We didn't start as an agency. We started as individual specialists — a developer, a writer, an SEO — taking on work for clients around the world on the early freelance marketplaces, one project at a time. Elance, oDesk, Guru: platforms where you were only as good as your last delivery. There was no brand to hide behind and no account manager to pass the blame to. If the work wasn't good, the client simply didn't come back.
Those habits stuck. Every project here is still run by the people who actually do it, and we still work month to month rather than locking anyone into a contract. A decade on, the tools are better. The standard is the same.
Answerwright was founded in 2026. The people behind it have worked in search since 2012. We made the change because the world did: Search got more conversational, AI started answering questions directly, and "just doing SEO" stopped being enough. New company, same people.
But the core of what we do hasn't changed. We help small and mid-sized businesses get found by the people who need them. We fix the technical mess. We make the important information easy to understand. We make sure the same clear facts live in the places that matter.
A decade in, we're still a hands-on team. Most projects are run directly by the people who actually do the work, not passed down through layers of account managers who never touch the site. We start with a real audit, build a simple plan, and then get on with it.

Renamed to Answerwright
Same team, same people. New company, new focus. It reflects SEO + AEO + GEO rather than search alone.
The people who do the work
Small team, deliberately. You deal with the people doing the work, not an account manager relaying messages. Several of us have worked together for the better part of a decade.
Ken Lambert
Has worked in search since 2012. Runs strategy and joins the first call for every new client.
LinkedIn →Kate Miller
Keeps work moving and is usually the person you’ll hear from week to week.
Sarah Johns
Technical audits, site structure, and the unglamorous fixes that actually move rankings.
Mark Lambert
Focuses on AEO and GEO: how answer engines read, trust and cite a business.
Bella D’Souza
Writes and edits the pages, and makes sure they answer the question that was asked.
Checking us out? Good — you should. Our founder is on LinkedIn under his own name. Answerwright is a new brand on a new domain; the work behind it is not new. Ask us on a call and we’ll walk you through what we did, for whom, and what actually happened.
- What We Believe
- A few things we've learned the hard way
- 🎯
Clarity beats cleverness
The businesses that get found are the ones that explain what they do in plain language. Fancy copy rarely helps. Straight talk almost always does.
Fix the basics first
Page speed, clear structure, proper links. It sounds boring, but these are the things that actually move the needle. The fancy stuff comes later, if it's needed at all.
Good work compounds
Small, consistent improvements beat dramatic one-off changes almost every time. The businesses that do well are the ones that keep at it.
AI is just another reader
AI tools respond best to the same things people do: straight talk, real details, consistent information. If it's useful to a human, it's usually useful to a machine.
Measure what matters
Are the right people finding you? Is AI describing your business correctly? That matters more than ranking #1 for a phrase nobody actually searches.
Be honest about what you can't control
No one can guarantee specific rankings. Search engines change. Competition shifts. We're upfront about what we can influence and what we can't.
Where We Work
Small towns, big cities, across continents
The same practical approach works everywhere. We've helped businesses in all of these places and many more.
